Working with Microsoft Office
Much of the work you do on your business plan will be completing forms and worksheets provided by Karen using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. She uses the 2016 version of the software.
If you do not have Microsoft Office or compatible software, there are several free resources available including the following. (Karen does not endorse any one of these).

- Microsoft offers a free version of their programs. The programs are online versions. You can save your files on your computer or for free in Microsoft’s cloud. The programs do not include all the features of the paid version but should do all that you need.
- WPS Office is a free resource that looks very similar to Microsoft. The program is downloaded to your computer and you can save the files on your computer or in the cloud.
- LibreOffice – this is a download where the software and all files are stored on your computer.
- Google Docs is a free resource you can access on line and store your files either online or on your computer. You must have a Gmail account to use this resource
